hey there!

Hi all-
I've been with MFP 12 days now so pretty new. I'm an animal lover, substitute teacher/education tech, gardening fiend working on producing more of mine and my husband's food resources on our own 4'ish acre property (including: veggies, honey, maple syrup, eggs, poultry/pork and berries). I've always been an overweight person, but was quite athletic in high school/college which kept it somewhat in check. Now in my mid 30's it's caught up & I'm ready to start a family of my own, so I'm doing a 180 & building better habits that I hope will stick as I move forward into this part of my life.
