Just started.. 6 days in not a lb lost. Had been using a zero carb eating habit and lost 31lbs in 6 months very very slow. Added carbs and counting macros to help give energy for exercise.. bootcamp and 9Round boxing.. I'm just curious if it works and how long people stay on it and committed

    If you've gone from no carbs (you're saying you only ate protein and fat? Not even any vegies?) to carbs in your diet you would be holding more water (due to the water holding effects of carbs on the body - completely normal). Doing more exercise would also cause more water retention. That, and weight loss isn't always going to happen linearly.

    How much do you have left to lose? Your weight loss rate will likely slow down as you get closer to your goal. I don't consider 31lbs in 6 months particularly slow unless you had a lot to lose in the first place.
