I have a month in the gym focusing on strength training and I already saw a difference in my glutes how can it happen so soon? I’m so confused on how to train because I tend to be more wide from my upper body so I don’t want to look bulky I want to look leaner from my upper and thicker from my lower but I have fat to lose. How should I workout in the gym???? 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Nice information I have like 0 knowledge when it comes to weight training. Do you think I should lift heavy from my upper body? I want skinny arms but I don’t want them to get flabby while I’m losing the weight.

Do a full body programme in a small calorie deficit

I would highly recommend you don't neglect the upper body when weight training. If you leave out weight training the upper body, there is a chance you won't retain as much muscle there and it won't look as defined as lean when you get to goal. In a deficit, you will not gain very much (if any) significant muscle, so I would not worry about bulking up at this point. If you feel you look bulky it has a lot of to with the fat on top of the muscle, not the muscle itself.

Based on your goals I would look into a program like Strong Curves. It focuses and prioritizes the lower body, with just enough upper body work.

It's not so easy to accidentally get too bulky as a woman, you shouldn't worry about this. The women you see who are huge are either very genetically gifted or getting chemical help or both. Particularly when you are eating in a deficit it's hard to gain muscle. Keep training your whole body for strength and you will see good results in your appearance as a bonus.
