Lifting with a broken Ankle

So I've been through the ringer with this ankle injury since April... it was first diagnosed as a grade 2 sprain with a possible hairline fracture, but 6 weeks on crutches was decided to heal it (I actually spent 8 weeks on crutches at the recommendation of my physio therapist).
So as soon as I started walking on it, the pain worsened, and anyways it turns out I have two hairline fractures, neither of which has healed in 4 months. I'll be going back to the hospital for tests and a cast soon, but in the meantime, 4 months of inactivity has not helped my waistline.
I have a full set of power blocks and a bench at home but I have a demanding job and I'm having trouble finding the motivation to lift. Also, just knowing what to do is overwhelming at times.
Has anyone been through this? Have any pointers about how I can try to stay motivated through the pain and frustration?
