HELP ADDING EXERCISES

When I add in crunches or squats to my diary, there isn't a caloric value attached. Is this correct?

    I think mfp doesn't count a lot of strength exercises for some reason, but I would just get a hrm and you can enter it with that I still haven't gotten one yet and it's frustrating not knowing how much I have burned

    In order to earn calories, you need to log it as strength training under cardio.

    Are you trying to add in cardiovascular or weights? When I lift, I always add it thru the cardio part under strangth training becaue just adding the weights alone don't attach calories burned.
