Hi all,

I was just wondering. I saw on the website it recommends 1920 m of water per day and you can keep track of this.
I don't usually drink water by itself but I do have it in either a cup of tea or a cordial drink (Apple and Blackcurrent or Summer Fruits, usually).

If I drink a 500ml of this (the cordial) and I am doing what that drink suggests and using 1 part cordial and 4 parts water, does that mean I would say 400 ml water from that drink?

The same question for tea also as I drink several per day.

I don't track water, but would consider all drinks as contributing to my intake. We're hydrated by water in the food we eat too, which isn't really track able.

Perhaps just go by your pee colour to determine hydration - pale yellow? Great!

    Slightly overthinking it I think.

First off, cordial is also mostly made up of water, as is tea. You can be hydrated by most fluids and also from foods.

Secondly, you don't need an exact figure of water per day. You just need to be adequately hydrated, you can tell this from the colour of your pee, if it's pale yellow you're good, if it's darker you need more fluid.
