Coming back from my diet break, losing weight too fast...I need your thoughts.

So I've been cutting since early May at 2400 calories. I only needed to lose approximately 15 lbs (Started at 170 lbs and I want to end somewhere around 155 or 160, depending how I look by then). I've been losing weight on average somewhere between 1 to 1.3lbs per week which is fine because it wasn't exceeding 1% of my bodyweight per week.

Last week, I took 1 week of diet break, I was eating at maintenance. I currently weigh around 162 lbs (I was at 164 lbs last week on my diet break). This week, I got back to my 2400 calories and I am on pace to lose 2 lbs this week, which is too much. I am just curious to know if it's possible that it's mostly water weight and glycogen that's being flushed out which would explain my increase in weight loss rate this week?

Of course, I will still be sticking with 2400 calories and see how the second week goes before making an adjustement, but I am just curious about what's going on right now and if I should maybe increase my calories starting next week instead of just sticking to 2400 calories for another week like I intended.

If you’ve cut the carbs back then it’s
    Most likely water weight

To be honest, I don't really track carbs and fats, I just make sure fats aren't low, protein is high and I hit my calories. But I suspect like everyone else that it has to do with water weight after dropping my calories.
