Military Spouse Trying to do It the Right Way

Hello, everyone! I’m a 31 year old military spouse and mother of two living on Camp Pendleton in San Diego county!

I’m trying to lose weight again, but am determined to do it the right way. I used to be anorexic, and haven’t made a real attempt at getting to a healthier weight since recovery out of fear that I would fall back into it.

Now, however, it’s been long enough that i think i can do it. I thought joining a community and and having others who can support me in doing this in a healthy way would help me on track.

I figured I might help others as well. At any rate, it’s great to meet you all!

Hi! Fellow military spouse here! Husband is deployed and I’m determined to Finally lose the baby weight. I think I’ve actually been hiding behind it and using it as an excuse. I’m ready to step out of my shell, get healthy, fit, and confident again! Would love to be friends if you want to add me!

    Welcome to the community! <3

If you haven't already, read the stickies at the top of the getting started forum. Very informative and helpful.

Please thank your spouses for their service and sacrifice. I truly appreciate it.

Buy a food scale. Weigh everything you eat and log into the food diary.

    Good luck with your journey!
