Apple in database - weight with core or without?

It doesn't specifically say, so does the weight include the parts you are not eating? BTW, it's a granny smith apple.

I am a whole apple/pear consumer. I am glad to see the Atlantic article linked above; it is silly. like cutting crusts off sandwiches. Waste just for a minor preference.0
