What’s wrong with sodium if you don’t have a health condition?? Nothing. I get 6-8 grams a day and I’m very “healthy”

I don't stress sodium, except when I low carb, I increase sodium to about 6000 or more mg a day. And really unless you have high blood pressure, then it shouldn't be a huge issue.

Also, if you are exercising your body needs more sodium.

ETA: The bigger thing is getting adequate potassium and magnesium in your diet as well.

I consume lots of sodium, nothing wrong with it unless you have a health condition like hypertension. Sodium is a necessary and important nutrient.

If you want to reduce sodium, prepare your own food, then you can put as little or as much salt in it as you wish.
