Recommendations on a barbell for Home

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a barbell size to use at home for starting out deadlifts please?
I recently purchased a barbell set from amazon for around £40 I use this for body pump exercises but would like to start deadlifting and I’m unsure of the size and a good weight to start with?
After lots of good advice on here the other day I have started to follow a plan (thinner, leaner, stronger) I need to do deadlifts and I don’t think my set is going to be good enough.

and you can already dead lift that?
i would just go for more reps until you buy more weights.
i got my bench from Argos, but i don't think it has much more weight that you already have.0 -
I’m taking it that I’m doing alright then 🤗
That’s great thank you.0 -
Just a thought ... You can get empty 5-gal pails with lids for cheap. Fill em with water, and you got 40 lbs in each hand -- awesome for dead lifts and farmers carry (many of same muscles).
Pail of water getting too easy? Add a bag of quick concrete mix -- it's a few dollars at Lowe's, Menards, etc.1 -
Oh, if it matters, you can probably get them in PINK 😎
Just saw the pound currency , so maybe some OTHER stores.2 -
I bought my barbell on Facebook marketplace . Not sure what kind of online selling sites you have where you live, but people are ALWAYS selling work out equipment. I use a standard Olympic style barbell.1

I have a 35-lb women’s olympic bar and a 1/2 cage for lifting. I also have a 45-lb Olympic bar and landmine sleeve for accessory work (this is a great solution for limited space). I bought a set of Olympic weights plus two 25lb bumper plates (for deadlifts and hip thrusts). That is all I need since I am not a powerlifter.1
