Recovering from overdoing it

I over did it the other day. Now I'm still exhausted, even 2 days later.

How many days should I give myself to recover?

    As long as it takes you to only be a little sore is the real answer.

    Pretty much every body sculpter will tell you one day on one day off is the standard, but not everything fits into standards.

    As you get used to w/e it is you are doing the down time won't be as bad, but you should still give yourself a day in between.

    Well with my health problems, recovery takes longer. Maybe I'll rest one more day after today and then start up again. Just not as much as I did.

    You can also try mixing up your routine. Not sure what you over did the first time around, but it it worked one particular area/muscle group, you could be working on the non affected areas while you rest the overworked one.
