Night eating

What has been your results from eating at night or just before falling asleep?
I've been having mindless cheat days where I'd snack in bed just before sleep. Interesting I would only snack if I'm still under CICO. So far, there hasn't been any weight fluctuations.
Did you notice gaining weight easier when snacking after hours, even if it's under CICO?

As long as you're staying within your calorie goal, meal timing is irrelevant to weight loss. Your metabolism/digestive system works 24 hours a day.3

I always eat right before bed. If I'm in a deficit, I lose. If I'm in maintenance, I don't.4

I only eat banana and oats whenever I feel hungry before going to bed. I find it healthier that way.3

I don't like eating before bed because I'm not used to eating when it's dark so it feels weird, but I don't see how it would affect weight any which way outside of calorie intake.2

You've never eaten past sun down?...........3 -
I eat all sorts of things before bed.. ice cream, chocolate, donuts, cookies, cereal, shrimp, cottage cheese, wine, grappa, JD ... My results are the same. As long as I am in a deficit, still getting adequate protein (for my goals) I'm good.7

Same. Having ice cream and wine right now.0 -

Only when I'm going out or if I'm extremely hungry, but not typically. It's how I've always eaten.0 -
I am another night time eater. I can not sleep if I am hungry so it works well with me for weight loss and maintenance, as long as it fits into my calorie goals. Some find that having a full stomach disrupts their sleep so fair better by not eating for a few hours before bed. Some find they are prone to mindless eating at this time of the day, pushing them over their calorie allowance.
There really is no one fits all but if eating just before sleep doesn't negatively affect sleep quality, nor does it cause overeating then I'd continue to snack guilt free.1 -
I eat the bulk of my calories during the 2 hours before going to bed and have lost over 100 lbs so...4
