I'm Courtney, and 26 years old. Friday after reading a few articles about people my age, losing weight I decided it was time for a change. All I am doing right now is at least 1200 calories a day, no soda and lots of water. 1 week in I've lost 4lbs!!

It’s the small things that count, changing habits, it takes up to 6 weeks to break a habit and improve your fitness, keep going and you will get to your target.

Thank You all for your kind words! I am cautiously optimistic, this time around feels better than previous attempts, I feel like I have a better diet mindset. I am going to do this how I want to and how it fits my life (unlike most diets). I am not going to tell myself I can't have something, I can't do this if I feel deprived. One day at a time.
