I thought it'd be great to hear about those excellent people in our lives who've helped us as we lose weight.

Mine are:
- my lovely partner, who cooks 90% of my meals. He always makes whatever I want. It helps that he loves to cook
- my wonderful teen daughter, who, along with my partner, helps to weight my foods and write the weights down on a piece of paper, which is handed to me, as my food is served, where I track it as I eat.
- other two gorgeous children, who set up the wii fit for me, so I can way myself quickly.

All of this makes everything so much easier  who are your support people?

My dog, who makes sure I get my enough balance training every day by picking the most inconvenient doorways and corridors to relax, contorting his body awkwardly so I don't get off easy by just stepping over.

Haha, I love it! You reminded me of my dogs: they still love me, despite my sometimes making them sit somewhere else while I'm doing indoor exercise. But they still make sure I know they're deeply put out and offended.

My mum cooks dinner most nights, and pay for most of the groceries. Dogs demand a daily walk. Other than that, I'm pretty much on my own. It's tough, but still a lot more than most people probably get. My Dad said he would pay for my gym membership when I actually go, but I've been having trouble committing.

Yes, it's still definitely up to us, isn't it? I agree, I'm very grateful for any extra bit of help I get!

@amusedmonkey I love your dog! My old man does something similar, only with the couch and coffee table. He just keeping me agile I guess

Actually, it's my husband. He does most of the weeknight cooking and always weighs for me, lets me know the menu so I can plan my day, and keeps the delicious calorie bombs to a minimum (unless I request them) He's also my biggest fan and encourager.

    He sounds awesome

Also, I just re-read my post: please excuse the terrible grammar  I mustn't have been concentrating, haha!
