Struggling to get back on track?

So up until a month ago everything was going good. I was tracking daily, lifting weights 5 days per weeks and looking forward to it. I had built up a routine of proper nutrition and training over the past 2.5 years and lost a substantial amount of weight.
Then a month ago on our way home from work, a newly qualified driver drove straight into my wife and I. Our car was a write-off, the wife and I ended up sore all over but thankfully nothing broken. Anyway, that meant training was out the window, I was under instructions from the doctor to recover. For me anyway, I find both training and nutrition are linked, I can't do one without the other odd as that may sound, so the clean eating went out the window also, then came vacation and that hindered things a bit more.
So here I am feeling crap about the entire thing, I have never been away this long from the gym and healthy eating and I've lost my habit I think. I'm back to work again tomorrow so that may help as I've had no routine this past month.
Any advice on how to get back on track?

You just make the decision to do it.
But don't beat yourself up for the last month.3 -
Sorry to hear about your accident! Hope you're feeling better.
To get back into it, I'd recommend start weighing all of your foods, if you aren't already. You can still lose weight just by eating at a deficit (if you're unable to train due to your injuries). Doesn't even have to be "proper nutrition" either. I think weighing and logging is a great first step back, with introducing exercise as your body heals.0 -
Track what you have already eaten today. Don’t wait. Just do1

Yeah, I'm just gonna have to do it. I just feel very guilty after going on a month binge I guess you could say. I bet after a week or so it'll be business as normal. Gonna tackle the gym tomorrow again and see how I get on.2

Don’t beat yourself up. You have been through a lot. None of us can change the past. We can only change the future starting now. You don’t have to do it all at once, you just have to start1

What purpose does the guilt serve? You can't undo what's been done?1 -
It also may be a good time to re-evaluate black and white thinking.3
