Fitbit/MFP to sync or not to sync

Hello. Thanks in advance for your help.
I have a 15 lb weight loss target. Using MFP, choosing not very active and a 1 lb/week weight loss goal, MFP set my calorie goal as 1220. I’ve just started using my Fitbit One again and most days I am burning more than 1720 calories a day (significantly more on days I hit over 10000 steps). I’m not losing weight. I’m wondering if I steer the course, adjust my MFP goals to a higher activity level, eat more throughout the week if calorie deficit greater than 500 calories? I’ve never synced Fitbit and MFP as it sounded like that can cause confusion.
Help!
Stats: 44 years old, height 5’5, weight 165, target weight 149.9

How long have you been doing this without losing weight?

If you aren't losing weight eating more isn't the answer

I have my Fitbit connected to mfp and my activity level set to “very active.” Plus, I have negative calorie adjustments enabled. I’ve found this to be very accurate for me, but I also make sure to weigh my food and track everything I eat. 1220 calories/day seems like not much food. What is your your deficit is set at? It could be that it’s too aggressive for his little you have to lose.

Are you weighing and tracking *everything* that you eat?

At your height and weight, 1720 isn't unreasonable for a TDEE. So I'd believe that you should be losing weight on 1220 -- but keep in mind that the 1720 would be your TDEE, and already includes your exercise calories.
