I'm on 11 day keto started at 276 and now I'm 2620

It is great to see the level of interest out there today and growing.
I am about to finish my 4th year of this Way Of Eating and it has changed my sick body in so many positive ways.
Is it an easy WOE? NO and YES is what I found. After failing for the first two months it finally clicked I was addicted to a high carb Way Of Eating. Sadly the NO comes first and can be hard. Yes come after it is working well for you and something you do each day without thought like when you drive and turn on your blinkers or headlights without thinking about doing these tasks.
Because I was 63 and in poor health that was getting worse by the day I was very aware my time was getting short to try to figure out a WOE that would help my major health issues. The arthritis pain controlled my quality of life in every way.
It was a hellish two weeks but on a hunch I finally stopped eating/drinking foods containing added sugar and or any form of any grain on a hunch it might fix me. Actually I was so sick I do not remember a lot about when I started Keto for real Oct 2014 at the age of 63.
Suggestions from an old man. Work through your mistakes of the first week, month, quarter and year.
I am very serious if you really need the KETO WOE for your life. Many of you do not require Keto as I did so some of you will give up. That is fine because there is NO one WOE that works for everyone all of the time.
Some of you may wait like me until you know you are going to die sooner than later to give Keto your all like as if your life depended on it.
The are Keto groups on MFP with many HOW TO links and articles for those new to Keto.
Even if you do not stick with Keto at this time what you will learn is going to change your way of thinking about food and related subjects.
Again my first year was bumpy but especially the first 30-90 days. I never forced myself to eat anything I did not enjoy. It is not about eating a ton of fats either.
Just get down the part of keeping your total carbs around 50 grams daily and you are 99% on your way to a successful Keto WOE.
Remember there are many out there successfully doing Keto that can help offset those who are not excited about your new Way Of Eat but are not talking from personal experience with the KETO WOE.
