Hello guys. When you count protein grams, do you also include the protein you are getting from carbs such as bread or only from meat, eggs, chicken, etc?

I count every gram of protein no matter what it comes along with.2

I count all of my food so if it has protein (and it's an accurate entry) it's in there0

Thanks for the reply. What is a good amount of protein for a 163 lb female, 5'4. I have read mixed things online so it's confusing. I also workout 1 hour a day 5-6 days a week doing classes such as bodystep, bodycombat and strong Zumba.0 -
Protein is protein regardless of source. It still adds up into your daily allowance2
