Hi.

I'm 46 and currently the wrong side of 20 stone.

I've got myself a FitBit, a set of Aria scales and MFP and they're working great together. I've started going for a walk of anything between a mile and a mile and a half before work and I eat breakfast at work. Then at lunchtime I'll normally walk another two to three miles around town, with my earphones on and generally having a good time.

This exercise is putting calories back into MFP and I'm seeing the benefits already. I enjoy my walks and if I had a longer lunch break then I'd go further!

But what I am lacking in is any kind of support network. I'd like some friends (ideally in the UK but that's not essential) who I can share my diary with and who will offer nice words of encouragement.

So, any volunteers?
