No Motivation

Okay, I’m looking to lose 65 lbs and I really want to eat healthy. The only issue I’m having is sticking to healthy habits and not over eating. How do y’all eat healthy and feel satisfied? I need some pointers because I am losing all motivation.

If you want to lose weight then you need to eat at a calorie deficit. What you eat is entirely up to you.
Put your stats into MFP set it to lose 1lb -21b per week If you keep to the calorie allowance given you will lose weight.
Losing weight is all about how many calories you are eating. Nutrition is about what kind of foods you are eating. (You can get fat eating a healthy diet if you are still eating too many calories)
You will have to play around with food to find out which keeps you fuller for longer. Some find carbs do this for others it is protein or fats.

Forget about motivation. No one is motivated every single day and I include myself in this. I sometimes have to remind myself why I am doing this and I also try to remember what I used to look like, so I just quit whining and I do what I have to even if my body doesn't feel like it. As for what keeps me full, drinking a lot of water, eating pickles and/or 5 calories jello, drinking coffee, green tea and/or decaf coffee does the trick for me.2 -
Plan ahead. Write down your goals and how you plan to reach them. Make a meal plan for the week that matches your goals and shop accordingly. If you have fitness goals, do the same. Once you get started, keep going. You will find motivation in seeing progress.1

I suspect there's a conflict between what you think healthy eating is and what it is.
A healthy diet is balanced and varied (enough of all the nutrition you need every day, but not too many calories over time, and not limited to certain things).
You can eat anything you want (you don't have to eat anything in particular, and nothing is off limits, don't listen to the food police).
You may have to consciously limit your intake, tolerate cravings, and now and then stop eating without feeling satisfied (don't eat everything at once, and not all the time).2 -
I usually log everything I’m going to eat the next day ahead of time. I’m not sure why, but I think having my day planned out helps me stay on track. Also, I just started going to the gym and that seems to help keep me motivated too. I don’t really feel like eating a bunch of junk after working so hard at the gym. Also, if you’re someone who needs a lot of food to feel (like me), add a lot of vegetables to your meals. They’re pretty low in calories and they add a lot of substance so I’m less likely to feel hungry after eating (which always results in me getting extra snacks that are too high in calories). Oh and drink water! I find that adding crystal light, mio or fruit to it makes me want to drink more of it.1
