    I don't care if you're fat or thin as long as you're happy with yourself. I do think that most of those people were looking in the direction she was in, not necessarily at HER.

    I didnt read the article, beccause I looked through the first set of photos, where the women set up a camera and then stood there to take pictures and see peoples reactions? Is it possible that some of those people were laughing wondering what she was actually doing? So I stopped reading after that, if the whole article is based on what people THINK other people MIGHT THINK about them... :grumble:

    I've read articles written by Fat Activists claiming that being fat is not necessarily unhealthy...which is utter nonsense.
    Actually, it is my understanding that that is true, i.e., that there exist a few fat people who are absolutely average by nearly every health metric you can think of. However, statistically, it is definitely not true . . .
