Does anyone have any experience with a gluten-free diet? Does it really help you lose weight?

Eh, not so much. I did paleo for a while and switched to IIFYM because I noticed a lot of gluten free foods has just as much, if not more calories than their counterparts. However, I did learn to love spaghetti squash in replacement over pasta bc I can eat a lot more and fit it into my macros rather than a small portion of pasta that would normally not keep me satisfied.
In short, the long-term you will plateau, but in the short term you will probably lose some water retention weight.0 -
A gluten free diet doesn't mean weight loss.
A gluten free diet is for those who have celiac or intolerances to wheat/gluten. Unless you have either of those there is no need for a gluten free diet.0 -
Unless you have a medical condition, a calorie deficit is all you need to lose weight.0
