Is it loose skin or just fat?

Hi there,
I’ve gone from 220 at my heaviest to 136 at my lightest and around 140 now. My stomach is my problem and my butt and inner thighs to a much lesser extent. I have wrinkles on my stomach, and also still some fat, but can anybody advise if they think I can iron out the wrinkles with more fat loss and muscle gain? ui5m9568gibz.jpeg

You need muscle gain my friend. Rapid fat loss will give you baggy skin, it will get tighter on its own to an extent but you also need something aesthetic under the fat layers you're taking away otherwise the look you'll be going for is skin over bones

Thanks for your advice. I’m doing full weight lifting sessions every other day and upping the protein. Not sure if I should start saving for skin removal surgery 😭

How long since you lost the weight?
It can take a couple of years for your skin to get as good as it is going to get.

You don't mention your height so it is hard to say if a small deficit will help with those last few lbs of body fat.

For now, get your protein in, 0.8-1.2g mid BMI range, fat .35+g for the same, carbs can fall as they may, continue lifting in a recomp, and if the weight loss is recent, start saving. If you end up with good skin retraction you can go on holiday with the money you saved.

    Cheers, h.
