Menopause and medicine = weight gain

Hello! I'm 52 and used to never have to worry about my weight. I was blessed with great metabolism and genes, I guess. Within the past 3-4 years, I've gained and lost and gained and lost. Currently, I've gained about 15 lbs and have been unable to lose weight by only cutting calories. I don't love to exercise, so that's a hurdle I'll need to cross. I'm looking into getting a treadmill, but for now, I'm trying to walk in the evenings. I take a trail to a nearby park that takes about 40 minutes and it's 2.4 miles. I'm frustrated, because I'm doing that plus netting less than 1300 calories a day on average and am GAINING weight! I'm hoping that by logging my food, exercise and water intake, I'll see where the issue lies.

It's mostly what you eat, but have you had your thyroid tested?0

Yes, I had it tested earlier this year in February. Thanks for responding, I appreciate it!0
