My name is Savannah. I am 20 years old. I have been very overweight pretty much forever. I started trying to lose weight when I was a preteen, and would always lose a little, then gain a lot back. So now, I am looking for some people that are in the same boat as me, so we can help keep each other motivated! My highest weight was 2 years ago at 353 pounds. Shortly after this time, I had some medical issues that caused me to lose a lot of weight, and since then I have managed to maintain it. I'm looking to be as close to my goal weight as possible by 2020, because I am planning a wedding for later that year!

Nobody is motivated all the time. Some things we just do anyway. And we have to do, not try. Luckily, weight management is simple enough - eat less, move more. Weightloss will be more effective if you just (or "just", it's challenging enough) set up MFP, start to use your food diary and a food scale, hit your calorie target. You can eat the food you like. You can plan your meals in advance. You don't have to eat anything you don't like. All you have to do, is to not eat too much. If you rely on others to motivate you, you're letting go of the one and only thing you can do to control your weight - eating less than you burn, for real, consistently and for a long time.
