I need some advice please , I’m wondering if I’m eating enough calories , I’m scared to eat more since I don’t want to put any weight on .

Weight is around 235 lb, I’m allowed to eat 1670 calories and I use mostly all ! But my job is very physical and I burn about 500-800 calories depending what i do and work on that day . I decided not to eat back my calories , I’m wondering if this is to much of difference ? Any advice who has similar thoughts ?

When you sign up for MFP, it asked your activity level. Did you put lightly/moderately active? Because that would include the calories you burn from work into the calories it tells you to eat everyday

Yeah, set your goals to "Active" and "Lose 2 pounds." You can choose the 2 pound option because you have quite a lot to lose. Eat the number it gives you. When you do purposeful exercise, you can add a bit more. If you find it really difficult to eat that little, then set your goal to "Lose 1 pound" - which is what this site would have recommended when you went through the goal wizard.

Are you using some sort of tracker, like a FitBit?

I set my activity level to sedentary even though I'm moderately active. 15k steps daily. As my calorie allotment grows (from my step tracker) throughout the day, I just make that the number to beat. An active day I can beat the number by 200-400 easily. Less active, I end up right about the calorie limit. I think it's okay as long as you log your consumption as accurately as possible and eat reasonably balanced meals. I'm losing 2 to 3 pounds a week without feeling like I'm missing out. Keep at it!

An addition to the great answers you've already gotten, the final answer will be seen in your progress. If eating that level, after 4-6 weeks you are losing weight faster than expected, you should probably increase your activity level setting or log that activity. If you are losing at the pace you set yourself up for, then it's all evening out in the wash somewhere.

1670 isn't so low that you have to worry about doing it for a few weeks and seeing what happens. Just keep an eye on your rate of loss over time.
