Do I track net or total cals?

Should I focus on staying within my net or total calories? Also - should I concentrate more on my daily totals or my weekly?

    MFP is designed for you to consume a certain amount of *net* calories. So if your goal is coming from MFP, you'll want to focus on the net.

    Daily versus weekly is a personal choice. Some people find it easier to focus on the weekly calories.
