    Log your food accurately, honestly, and completely. Set your activity level honestly. Log your exercise honestly and accurately. Trust the process. Be patient. Enjoy living.

    Replace unhealthy habits with healthy ones. For example, one of the first things i did when i knew i needed to make a change was to cut out all sugary drinks. I didn’t even bother with changing my food choices at that time (that came later, after sugary beverages were out of my life for a month or so). I still have my morning coffee (black, of course) but the rest of my beverage intake is plain water.

    My point being is if you make enough small, manageable & healthier changes in your daily life, those choices will get you the results you want long term. And by then, it’s habit & your weight will maintain itself. Also, don’t get discouraged & BE PATIENT. This is the hardest part, but it’s worth it learning to be patient & trusting the process.
