Anyone know why my ss may not have “stranded” like it isially does? It was fork tender when I pulled it from the oven but when I went to pull the strands it did not behave!

Another type of squash in disguise would be my bet. Never had a stranding spaghetti squash fail.

    Cheers, h.

The squash may have been overripe. If it completely mushed instead of stranded, that's probably why.

My thoughts too. I've also turned my squash to mush from overcooking.

Every single time I try to make it this happens. I am a terrible cook though so I just figured I did something wrong and never looked into why. I may try again now
