Restaurant French Fries

Any tips on how to estimate the calories of these? Really craving French fries and I have 1,000 calories left for the day... which I think should be enough for a good sized portion but I'm just unsure of how to go about this!

Ask them to bring you a to-go box or leftovers box with your meal when you order. Immediately put half the fries in the box, being as accurate as you can. Savor remaining half order of fresh, warm fries.
When you get home, weigh the half of the order you didn't eat. It should be close in weight to the half you did eat. Log it using data for fries from a large chain that provides nutritional information based on weight, if they seemed similar.
Or you could search MFP for
Restaurant, family style, french fries
289 kcal for 100 grams.
You can toss the leftover fries or reheat them for another meal.3
