45 over here
I was reminded by my younger friend that I have been talking about the journey for 10+ years. She said just have WL surgery and get it over with. Well I decided that isn’t an option for me and that my time is now! I’m so grateful she reminded me ( sarcastically)
That I had only been talking about taking care of me , but I’m doing it 16lbs redirected and finally out of the 300 club and moving on. So yes I decided to do this now vs 10 years ago and I’m gonna accept the wacky hormones and push through. 😂🙏🏽 glad I found you all add me

Hello! I am going to be 45 in 2 months and I have been on this weight loss roller coaster for a very long time. My friend suggested I try a stomach band to lose weight, but I am going to get a new doctor and eventually see an endocrinologist. I have hypothyroidism diagnosed in 2004 and I had gotten diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome a coupld of years ago and that can make it hard to lose weight and keep it off.
For me the biggest thing is feeling too tired to go out and exercise. My kids exhaust me. With all their fighting and me having to referee it puts me in a bad mood that I don't want to do anything. I need to change all of that. Maybe when they are driving me crazy with all their nonsense about whose turn it is or whose fault things are I will just walk out the door and go for a walk instead. I am so tired of being yelled at by my 12 year old twins. They have been worse this month because they are sick and just got diagnosed with bronchitis.
School really can't start soon enough, but that means I go back as well. I'm going for my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education.0 -
I recently came out the 300's a month ago. I joined this app so that I would not have to worry about what I ate. This made my life easier. I kept regaining what I lost. I stay under my calorie goal because I feel full looking at what I have eaten😛 . Also I know if I go over the calorie goal I will gain weight. I want to continue to be able to take care of myself. When people are in the 300's 400's it gets harder to take care of themselves. I use to take a shower and feel so tired after.0
