Hi all. When I joined MFP I lost 45lbs. Kept if off for 8 years. Then 2 years ago I lost my dad to Alzheimer’s weight started to creep up. A year ago I was promoted. Great yes but it meant and still means longer hours and more work. I used this as my excuse and almost stop running (my passion). Went from running during lunch 4 days a week to 1 day. Weight crept up again. Fast forward to today. 20lbs back on and ready to take back control of my life. Back to running 2 days a week, yoga 1 night a week and marital arts style cardio 2 times a week. Sunday’s is my best day for working out. Usually get in 3 hours (recently started kayaking). Want to work back up to running at least 1 half marathon this year. Would love friends with like interests and will keep me motivated. I’m 46 married with 2 fur babies. Feel free to friend me.
