Hello! I’m looking to change my life and would like a mentor to check in with daily for accountability. Trying to go from 200 to 125 pounds in 9-12 months!

    Unsolicited? I think 75lbs in 9 months is likely too aggressive. Not saying it's impossible, but it's probably not the healthiest. In general:

    75+ lbs set to lose 2 lb range
    Between 40 - 75 lbs set to lose 1.5 lb range
    Between 25-40 lbs set to lose 1 lb range
    Between 15-25 lbs set to lose 1 -.50 lb range
    Less than 15 lbs set to lose 0.5 lbs range

    I appreciate the advice! With 1.5 pounds down per week, my calculator says I could do it in 12.5 months. Either way, I’m in! I really am looking for someone to check in with daily. That I can celebrate the wins and troubleshoot the bad decisions to really create a healthy lifestyle.

    Accepted your friend request. Fair warning: I'll be incommunicado from Sunday to some time on Tuesday next week; going out of town for my niece's bat mitzvah and computer access will be virtually non-existent. But before and after that, I'll be around.

    Weight loss takes time, but it's very doable.
