TDEE method - track total calories?

Hi I’ve decided to set my calorie goal manually to 1450 per day which is round about 500 calories below my TDEE. I’m 5’1 and 159 lbs and run 4-5 times a week, walk the other two. I like to have higher calories on a sat night then average it out across the week. Is it correct that I only then count the weekly total calorie total and ignore the net total as my exercise is already accounted for?

By definition, TDEE does include exercise. How did you arrive to 1950 being your TDEE?1

If you're using TDEE then your exercise is accounted for already and you do not need to log it. If you are logging it just to keep track of what you are doing, then ignore the calorie burn from that. If you have the premium version of the app, you can turn off exercise calories for this reason.1

If you're not a premium member you can manually edit exercise calories; my calorie target is set to 1799 and then whenever I track my exercise using UA record (for time and occurrence purposes) I edit the calories to 1 to get to 1800 allowed/day.2 -

When you set your activity level in the TDEE calculator, did you include your exercise...this would be what you're supposed to do with TDEE and thus, yes...your exercise is accounted for and logging and eating back calories would be double dipping.
That said, I'd still pay attention to net...you still don't want to go below 1200 net.3 -
Yes I set my activity level to moderate in the TDEE calculator. I also have a Fitbit and have waited 6 weeks to see my average calorie burn which is anywhere between 1900-2200 depending on how far I’m running/walking. I know they can be a bit out so went with the lower end of that. It registers my BMR at 1359 about the same as the TDEE calculator. I’m not premium so just ignore the exercise cals though I like seeing them. Was just wondering about net calories because as my running gets longer I’m sitting at about 900 - 1000 cals net0
