How well is this application for gaining weight?

Hey just starting using the application an hoping to gain some weight.

I normal walk about 3-5 miles a day plus lift weight's an my Fitbit shows that i am burning over 3k calories a day so i am hoping this application will help me put on some weight.

If any one has any advice or feedback i am more then open to suggestions an advice.

I do not eat junk food or snacks an only drink water.

    This app works for losing, gaining, or maintaining weight.

    The numbers suggested are a starting point. Start logging your food and gathering your own data about what you weigh when you follow MFP's suggestions. If you don't gain at the expected rate, bump up your calorie intake a bit after a month or so.

    Thank you seska422 for the feedback much appreciated when i signed up i selected 0.5 gain per week since did not want to gain to quickly.
