11 Week Progress, Hit Plateau [PHOTOS]

Today was the worst weigh-in I've had yet: nada. There was nothing to report, which there usually is. If the scale doesn't move, at least I lost inches. If I didn't seem to lose inches, at least I lost 1lbs in a week. Maybe my measurements sucked this week, but after 3 months of working really hard, watching what I eat, and making changes I never thought I could do, I have to put this in perspective. I can't beat myself up over a plateau, and neither should you.

On the left is May 8, 2018. My starting weight 176+, I couldn't do a push up to save my life, and I thought that if I ate less pizza, maybe I'd not be so depressed about how I look all the time.
On the right is today, July 28. I am currently 156.3, and having a plateau in weight loss. I do CICO, though I always keep my calorie count between 1200-1300. I still feel like the girl on the left, but this girl can do 20 push ups easy. This girl does crow push ups now, and can do high knees for hours just for fun. This girl says no when her friends ask her for bad food, but doesn't starve herself when she really wants a slice of pizza on the weekend or a little chocolate treat. This girl eats 6x a day, and switched coffee to green tea. This girl completed 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels twice and survived, and is now doing Ripped in 30 & looking into starting P90X.
This may be a very uneventful week in terms of results, this may not be my massive reveal where I lost a ton of weight halfway through RI30, but I need to be proud of how far I've come. And if you're actively trying and hitting a plateau, too, then you ought to be proud as well. Find your beginning and see where you've landed. Be proud. I know I'm trying to be.

Good for you not letting a plateau break your motivation or your goals. You absolutely should be proud and happy with how much progress you’ve made.0
