Pasta and Sauce 265kcal ( First Try )
Hello everyone,
So recently I’ve been looking for more home cooked healthier options and decided that a good start might be with trying to make some pasta and sauce.
1 can of Italian Tomatoes canned ( Morrisons )
100g of white Onion
Two sprinkles of Italian herbs
Healthier Option pasta
Flexseed ( optional )
Start by boiling water for your pasta then start browning the onions ( I didn’t use oil or fry light ) and let them simmer for a little while then add your can of tomatoes. Once you have added the tomatoes let it simmer while you prepare the pasta and start it off. While you’re waiting for the pasta to cook add your herbs to your sauce.
Now your pasta should be nearly done while your sauce is simmering once the pasta is done your sauce should be too.
Weight the sauce out and the pasta to the following amounts to get the correct amount of calories. I added the amount of calories for all the onion but still weighed out only half of the can of tomatoes which included the onions.
