the goal is 64 oz a day, but for the most part I drink about 36-48 and I am well hydrated. The color of your urine is a good indicator.

I carry around a 32oz water bottle and drink 1.5-2 bottles a day so... 48-64oz per day. On really hot and dry days I drink up to 3 bottles (96oz). I started with the goal of a minimum of a bottle per day because I used to be really bad for not drinking anything. But now its just habit and those are the numbers I average. Hope that helps!

Thanks Guys. You never know what is right with the medai these days. My husbands has said for years the same as JaneJellyroll mentioned in her comment above. I am trying to drink at least 2 litres per day. I agree I don't thinkit helps weight loss but it is healthier to be hydrated.

Half your body weight in ounces. So 62.5 ounces. That's what I was told by a doctor. Hope that helps

Drink half your body weight in ounces. If you sweat excessively maybe drink a tad bit more

I drink a glass of water with meals and then whenever I am thirsty. My urine is very light colored. I am hydrated enough.

There really is not a set amount of water for everyone every day as it depends on your individual conditions. If your urine is light colored and you do not feel thirsty I would not stress about increasing your fluid intake.
