Am I losing muscle?

I started trying to lose weight about 3 weeks ago. About 13 days ago I used a machine at the pharmacy to get my weight/body fat etc. and did the same again today (I had to hold two handles to get the bf%).

According to the machine, my total weight has gone from 80.1kg to 77.6kg, and my bodyfat% has gone from 20.2% to 19.1%. My fat mass has gone from 16.1kg to 14.8kg and my free f. mass has gone from 64kg to 62.8kg. This means I've lost 1.3kg of fat and 1.2kg of free f. mass.

Is there any explanation for this besides muscle loss? Should I expect this trend to continue? Any advice?

An explanation could be that those machines are generally unreliable.

Those machines are woo.

I follow a fitness chick who does one of those things every couple weeks and posts the results. She said in two weeks she lost 4 pounds but gained 3 in muscle. There's just no way she gained that much muscle in such a short amount of time, especially cause she posts her food usually.

Take it with a huge grain of salt.
