determined to lose the weight

I have had a Myfitnesspal account for awhile now, but I just started using it again. I am dedicated to loose my weight. Right now my husband jogs with me 3 days a week. I want to start strength training on the days we don't jog. I have 3 kids. Work a part time job. I am trying to get a routine going. I am open to new ideas and encouragement. I was wondering how often to weigh myself. Currently I weigh myself once a week. And i'm struggling to find healthy recipes. Right now I am trying to eat more veggies and watch my portions. All encouragement is welcome and in return I would love to encourage you on your journey to weight loss as well.
