Pre Workout Snack?

I've read a lot about having a snack before working out. It is supposed to help with glycogen levels, especially when following up weight training with cardio. I usually snack on a English muffin with a teaspoon of kerrygold butter or some sort of fat free jelly. Looking to get some opinions about your pre workout snacks. Do you eat or do you prefer fasted? Carbs only? Sound off.

my pre workout snack (when i workout after work/before tea) is anything from a spoonful of peanut butter to cheese and crackers.
if i'm working out in the morning then its either fasted or after my normal breakfast.0 -
As long as you are feeling good in your sessions and progressing, stick with it.
I need to eat before my lifting sessions or I feel weak and unproductive. I have a protein shake or cottage cheese about an hour before with caffeine (espresso), then right before and during I have candy.0 -
I don't typically have anything0

Meal timing is irrelevant unless your name happens to be Usain Bolt or LeBron James.
