Hi I work nights and have no idea what to make for my dinner and tea, I don’t really like vegetables I only like lettuce, onion, cucumber, leek, cabbage and carrots. Some recipes would be great, I am looking to lose weight! thank you 😀

I usually eat rubbish to be honest, normally buy meal deals from Tesco and for tea normally something like a micro meal

There are tons of recipes on the internet. Check out Half Baked Harvest, Food Network, but there are tons of others. If you want low calorie; low carb; 3 ingredients, food on the go, etc, it's all out there. If you aren't much of a cook, it is easy to make a pot of vegetable soup, and it will last you are couple of meals.

Soupe au Pistou a healthy veggie filled meal that a non cook can do easily. Official recipes like this one might look a little daunting

so this is the cheat's version:

You will need pesto. Best bought from a good trattoria, but if you only have a jar of supermarket pesto, that will do. Boil some mixed frozen vegetables with a chicken stock cube. Toss in a can of white beans (not in tomato sauce) or chick peas. Cube a large tomato, skin and all and toss that in too. To serve, put a large dollop of pesto in each bowl and ladle in the veggie soup. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Have a slice of buttered brown toast with this.

Have you any idea of your calorie budget that you hope to allocate to dinner and tea?

Curried cabbage with ground meat is seriously good, and it should have most of the things you like: https://www.ricardocuisine.com/en/recipes/7022-curried-cabbage-noodles-with-sauteed-beef. I made it with pork, chicken or beef, it was always really good and freeze surpringly well.

Cabbage roll are a lot of work to make, but look for cabbage casserole, they are much easier and very good.

Soups are great and so easy. In broth boiled about 2 to 3 small to medium potatoes with 2 to 3 cups of vegetables: Carrots, leeks, mix of both.... When everything is soft, blend until smooth.

If you don't have pinterest, open an accout. you just have to look for "Cabbage" or "carrott" or "easy meal" or even 30 minutes meals" and you will have hundreds if not thousands of recipes, plenty of pictures, comments, etc to help you choose.
