Hi everyone,
I am tiredhead, an Irish female aged 37. I have been a member of MFP for a few years and have had varying levels of success over the years but I am now the heaviest I have ever been and it's affecting my confidence and health (mental and physical) so need to do something about it. I need to lose around 70lb and plan to do this by tracking, Les Mills classes and strength training in the gym. I enjoy exercise but often lack motivation and sometimes work/family gets in the way (I have 3 jobs and 2 kids!). I've never tried to do this with online support before now and I have realised I really need it for accountability and need to chat to people who feel the same way. My weight has crept on as I am a secret binger and love carbs way too much, and also have a reasonably active social life with lots of lunches/dinners out! I am not a massive drinker so that is something at least. Please add me as a friend if anything I have said resonates with you. I need to get batteries for my scale and weight myself properly on Sat to set my goals!
