How to stay motivated?

What ways have worked best for everyone to stay motivated? I just seem to give up after a couple of weeks EVEN THOUGH I know I should keep working at it!

It is hard to settle into routine unless you are really prepared to do so. Just keep trying and set goals sensibly, and dont stress over the odd slip2

I’m in the don’t rely on motivation to sustain you camp. Motivation seems a bit like falling in love, all that enthusiasm that comes with the initial rush. Then reality sets in.
I made goal by relentless tracking of Weight Watchers Points, calorie counting in disguise for trademark purposes. All done with pen and paper for more than five years before I could maintain any length of time without it. Just crude lists of food and numbers.
Start a food diary and never let your brain talk you out of logging something you ate or drank with calories. Don’t know how many calories in that meal or dish- make a good faith estimate. Forget to do it- go back and fill in best you can.
Do the process regardless of how you feel about it on any particular day. It will see you through the rough times.7 -
I have a vision of who i want to be. You might want to look a certain way, have a certain job, drive a particular car. You have to believe you can get these things. Be prepared for to hit sone walls along the way. There will be times when you think you cant do it, but i say yes you can! Remember though.... You don't want to fail in your goals because you didn't work hard enough. If you stop now... The only guarantee is failure. Youve got this1

Discipline is more useful than motivation. I just know this: I have three options; to lose weight, maintain weight, or gain weight. Time will continue on without me, whatever I choose. I choose discipline.3
