I'm 32, 5'4"...I have 10-15 pounds more to go. I am doing Jillian Michael s Body Revolution. Lost 11 pounds in the first phase. I stick to 1200 calories NET a day. I do eat back exercise calories because I'm already a little below my BMR. My diary is open to firends if you want to add me! I'm not the healthiest eater but I keep my portions under control and stick to my calories0

I'm 5'5" and 117. I started at around 183. Hoping to get down to 110. My biggest hump was at 142 and 136. Hang in there!0

I'm 26, 5'5 and 143 pounds.
I started my weight loss journey at 183 pounds a year and a half ago, which brings me to 40 pounds lost. Dedication and eating right will help you shed those pounds. Good luck ladies!0 -
Not a success story yet, but I'm on my way...
I'm 5'5 and I started out at 198.6 pounds on May 21st of this year....so far I've lost 22 pounds just following the MFP guidelines and some exercise every now and then. I still have a long way to go but have no doubt that I'll reach my goal!
I enjoy reading everyones success stories!0 -
Hello...I am 5'4 and been on MFP for almost 3yrs...I have roller coaster up and down throughout this journey. I have been as high as 212 and as low as 143....currently fighting to get back but still feel healthier than I have ever been.... I am in the 170's to my surprise on yesterday but I no longer let the scale define me I go by my clothing and the look....
Hope you have a fabulous journey!0 -
I'm 5'4'' and still need to lose 20 pounds. I decided to give up cardio and focus on lifting heavy (though I'm a bit of a noob) I want to see if my body will react the same way and start losing inches (thats basically what I've been wanting) and start to shed fat away better than what cardio has provided over the past several months. I'm doing the stronglifts 5x5 program
I doubt I can build muscle with such a high deficit, so I have to eat more and see where it will take me-- You can add me! We can motivate each other!0 -

I'm 5'5 and started at 277 lbs. Now i'm 155. It's really really slow moving now. Goal is 140-145.0

I'm 5' 4" and currently 147.4 lbs. I did get down to 128 lbs last summer but then gained back to 153.2 lbs... trying to lose it again, and then a bit more. I'd love to hit 115 lbs but would settle for 120 lbs.0

I'm 5'5, I started off at 143 lbs and I'm at about 138 lbs right now. Last summer I reached my goal of 130 lbs, but my ultimate goal is 125 lbs.0

I'm just under 5'6 - feel free to view my profile if you like. A little over 13 years ago, I was over 215lbs - never knew exactly how much over as I stopped believing the scale. But shortly after I started to work on being healthy. My weight before I got pregnant earlier this year was between 145 & 150 lbs & just under 18% BF, which with the amount of muscle I have is good. I am currently 6 months pregnant & my only "gains" have been in my belly: I have people telling me I look great - healthy & vibrant & I'm still working out every day, taking care to look my best no matter what every time I leave the house for work or running errands. This is success: to be able to continue to enjoy life no matter what changes happen around or to me.
Don't get too caught up in the scale - my biggest lesson in the last few years has been to ignore the scale & build muscle. In the last 2 years, I've built up more muscle & while I weigh the same I look better, slimmer, healthier. This is my fit, my Lifestyle.0 -

No sucess story yet but I'm 5'4", 55, and started at 228.8. As you can see I'm down 51 pounds. I think my journey is visable if you go to my profile. I was 254 at one point and bounced around 200-220 for around 16 years.0

I'm 5'5, 28, I've lost about 24 pounds, I have about 7 pounds to go for my goal (155), but I have been at a plateau for weeks now. I have been really frustrated trying to get rid of these last few!! Please feel free to add me as a friend. I need a lot more support than I currently have.0

I'm 23 and just under 5'5" I started out at around 150lbs (got to be honest, I don't know my exact starting weight -- I wasn't a fan of scales at that time, but I knew I wanted to be healthier). It took me about five months to come down to 120lbs, which is where I've been working on maintaining for the last month. I plateaued a bit around the 135lb mark, but adding more strength training to my fitness routine helped to start things moving again. All the best to you!0

I am 5'4.5"! So right where you are asking, haha... I started at 185 after babies and got down to 170 with diet/exercise over a 3 month period, then with ASAP (like HCG diet) I got to 155 in 3 weeks and was loving it! I maintained for 6 months then I moved and gained 10 back (stress eating mixed with poor food choice)
So back at 165.. and now trying the diet again (As Slim As Possible for 6 weeks) and walking twice a week to get to 140 by October 1st. I've already lost 5 pounds in 5 days! I'd love to be 140! That is the smallest I have ever been, even in highschool I was 160.
SW: 185
CW: 160
GW: 140
(Although now I see here a lot of people at 140 want to get to 125, so that will probably be my new GW after I get to 140!)
And I'd love more friends too! Please add me, my diary is also public!0 -
I am 5'4" and almost exactly 2 years ago I started Weight Watchers at 225 pounds! I could barely squeeze into size 18 clothing. I lost 70 pounds in about 10 months on their program, which I loved. I switched to MFP to save a little money each month.
My lowest weight was 155, I am currently 165. I'm working diligently again to reach my ultimate goal of 150. While I'd love to be 140, I'm not sure that I would look good that low. I can't imagine ever being in the 120s!
So all in all, I've basically maintained for a little over a year with a few bumps in the road. Good luck!0 -

ahoy there!
have been maintaining for a couple months, initially came on here to track my protein, which then triggered a relapse to an eating disorder which was not a fun time.
anyhoo, i am now maintaining around 106, started at 127. 5'4". what works for me is hiking and eating foods that are good for you. if you find you have hit a plateua then you may need to switch things up. i used to go on regular long walks then i started hiking for the same amount of time and started losing again because it was more intense on my body. or you may need to eat more to kind of kick that metabolism (dont weigh so you dont see an initial gain) then eat less again to help start losing, that worked for me anyway when i was trying to get my weight down.0 -
I'm 5'4.
My highest weight- 210
Current weight- 156
Goal Weight- 130 (but I'd love to see what I look like at 140!)
Started logging consistently this past July. Anyone with similar goals- feel free to add me!0 -
5'4" sw157 cw 131 ish. Can't seem to break into the 120's!! I recently went up to 140 but am now back to 131 ish. Hoping to get into the 120's in the next couple of weeks. I have a gluten intolerance so a lot of protein and little carbs. I'm also a runner but I've been at that for years. It doesn't seem to affect my weight loss. Add me if you like!0

I'm 28 and 5'4.5.

GW: 130
Though my goal weight is 130, I'm trying to go by what I look like in my clothes rather than what my scale says (as scales have been known to lie). I try to eat as much "whole" food as possible: lean protein, veggies, eggs, cheese, yogurt, snacks I make on my own, avocado, etc. I workout 3-4 times a week--and they're pretty intense sessions (but I give myself 3 rest days a week to make up for that!).
Currently, I've also hit a rut-- I can't tell if it's my thyroid (couldn't refill my meds for two weeks), if it's the fact that my workouts got more intense and my body just has to get used to it in order to let go of some water weight or what. I got down to 142 earlier this year and I felt great. Though I've been feeling a bit swollen, I do feel fitter even now!
Hang in there and DON'T STOP TRYING --even if the scale goes up, DON'T STOP TRYING. That's been the biggest lesson I've learned!0 -
*does dance.. Another 5 down! I'm so close to 140 I can feel it! Since I've only been under 155 a handful of weeks in my life I already feel far skinnier than I ever have. I know every pound after this will be extremely motivating.
What are the plateaus ya'll hit after 155??
I have strong, small, dense legs and an unruly gut (hereditary displacement, thanks dad). I've seen some mighty fine 155ers at 5'5" but I know I am still very much an apple. Maybe I'll always be *sigh*0 -
5'4"
SW ~220 (I didn't use a scale but I knew I was over 212 because I had already lost weight at that point)
CW 174
GW not really sure. I'm more about how clothes fit than a # really. I just want to be toned and awesome! My temporary # goal is 140
ETA - feel free to add me (anyone!); my journal is open to friends and I like seeing what other people eat for inspiration I'm vegetarian but looking to expand my options a bit0
