Then I woke up as the same ol me.
. Still on track tho, body recompisition takes a lot of time and effort, I forget that sometimes. What helps you stay motivated for long periods of time?

It changes. Upcoming competitions/vacations/events help motivate. Sometimes I'm not motivated at all, and keep at it anyway out of habit.2

"Motivation" is wanting to do something. "Discipline" is not wanting to do something, but doing it anyway. "Habit" is doing something because it's just become something you do.
Motivation will come and go. That's where discipline and habit come into play.5 -
Creating habits. Now I don't think about weighing my food and logging it, I just do it. Same with exercise. Motivation is not necessary anymore.2
