Please could someone tell me how much a ‘cup’ is?
I use imperial measures so a bit confused.
Thanks.

A US Cup is 240ml (or 8.45 imperial fluid ounces) but most countries have a cup as 250 mls. You should only be using cups for liquids and in this case you can use the nutrition information on the label for accurate measures.1

Using cups is a very common theme in the regular threads posted by people "help - I'm doing everything right but not losing weight". In reality they are eating more than they think.
Remember that cups measure volume and calories are in relation to the actual weight. Sprinkle some grated cheese into a cup or ram a load of grated cheese into a cup - very different calories.
Digital scales are very inexpensive and quite educational - revealing your actual portion sizes and where your extra calories might be coming from.
So that sad little amount of granola in my bowl is a suggested serving size....

And if you're looking at a cooking recipes: try to find a better one in grams, really.0
