Cancer survivor trying to lose weight

Good morning. I’m a cancer survivor that has had abreoccurance. I’m on an Avastin infusion every 3 weeks. One of the side effects is rapid weight gain. I have gained 20+ lbs since January. I’m trying to cut calories, cut out sugar & eat whole grains, lean meats, fruit & veggies. We live in N.C. in the woods & feed everything, deer, flying squirrels & birds. The cancer I had is aggressive. I want to be here to watch my Grandchildren grow up. Any cancer survivor tips would be welcomed.
