How accurate is the food app? Like logging your food? I used to do weight watchers.

Garbage in - garbage out. It's really up to you, finding genuine entries, weighing everything correctly, and logging everything.5

On the whole, I find it to be very accurate. Are there faulty entries? For sure. But the vast majority are correct, as long as I use the slightest bit of common sense which picking which item to log (i.e. not the "net carbs" entry if I care about all carbs).1

The app or the database? Two very different things!
The database has loads of inaccurate entries so choose carefully.1 -
pretty accurate. If there are multiple entries for something with differing calorie counts (a more "raw" item, like a vegetable or meat or something) I will sometimes google it. With packaged foods I check the nutrition label to make sure it matches what's in the mfp database. I know a few months ago I took some survey put on by MFP and they said they were going to work on cleaning up the food database, but I'm not sure if that's still happening0
